How to Use Teams for Sending Charts?

You can use Microsoft Teams to send charts and collaborate in many different ways for a more efficient workflow. Lightning Data Viewer provides you with all necessary tools and functions that integrate well with Teams so that you can make and send charts easily by using this online platform together with Teams. Users of Microsoft Teams can rely on Lightning Data Viewer for their daily activities even if they are working remotely.

After you have activated the latest version of the Data Viewer, you should go over to the Data Viewer Package and select ‘Sync to Teams.’

Here is how you can make charts using Microsoft Teams.

  1. Find the configure option in the Data Viewer and click on it.
  2. Make a selection of your data source. You can select from a wide array of platforms, including Business Connectivity Services, OData, Microsoft SQL Azure Database or SharePoint Lists.
  3. For more comfortable viewing, you can choose either the chart view or grid view by selecting one of these two options from the display.
  4. When you have configured the data source, you can make a selection of the columns that you wish to show. You can also apply filters that suit the data and create various calculated columns for your charts.
  5. Select the kind of chart that is most suitable for you and define properties, such as trendlines, color and other attributes.
  6. Save the chart.

You can choose from a wide selection of chart types, including but not limited to scatter, radar, area, line, column, donut, pie and bar charts.

Displaying the Grid Data

You can follow the steps shown below for displaying the data grid that you wish to show together with conditional formatting for highlighting key data that you wish to emphasize.

  1. Choose the grid view.
  2. configure your data source
  3. Select the columns that you wish to show.
  4. Configure the icons, conditional formatting, data bars and other attributes.
  5. Click on save.

As you can see, it takes just a few steps to create, share and send charts with Microsoft Teams. There is a lot more that Microsoft Teams has on offer.

Productivity Gains

Microsoft Teams puts at your disposal a myriad of tools that can leave new users astonished. The breadth of collaboration tools available can help you to carry out all kinds of daily activities by collaborating remotely.

Within one intuitive and self-explanatory interface, you can find all tools necessary for remote collaboration, real-time communication, file sharing, online meetings and much more. The beauty of Microsoft Teams is that besides using Office tools, you can also integrate third-party tools seamlessly to work alongside Teams. Since you are able to integrate third-party tools and use all available Microsoft apps as well, you will never need to leave the Teams environment for any of your work.

Stronger Focus

With Microsoft Teams, you can collaborate better and coordinate with all team members, no matter where they are located. With Microsoft Teams, distance does not matter and high productivity with remote working is a cinch. This is more important than ever, especially during these uncertain times where there is no telling when lockdowns will be lifted and when they will be reimposed.

Thanks to interactive functions and features that help you to prioritize time in better ways, you can boost your productivity and get more work done in less time by coordinating better with your team. Microsoft Teams arranges your data in a meaningful way so that it is always within easy reach and quickly accessible. You can arrange various channels together with the data that is relevant for them, thus helping you to focus better.

Since you only have the relevant files and information necessary on each channel, there is a much lower risk of straying into extraneous tasks. This is a much better way to communicate than the use of your email inbox where all messages are dumped in one place, making it harder to direct your focus towards one particular task. Instead of scouring through your email and wasting your time, you can find all relevant data on the right channel.

Better Transparency

A key requirement of all organizations is keeping everyone informed and making it as easy as possible for everyone to know how the situation is evolving. This becomes so much easier with Microsoft Teams. You do not have to get sidetracked by expending your time and energy on details like knowing who to invite and who to send the messages to. All of this is preconfigured on appropriate so that you don't have to do it again and again as you have to with emails.

Seamless Transfer to the Digital Sphere

Microsoft Teams gives you one of the simplest ways of moving your processes to the cloud. Since Teams is fully based on cloud technology, this software helps businesses to access important information from any location. Moving to the cloud can be quite difficult but with Teams, the process is much more gentle and hassle-free.
